Many homeowners neglect the long term maintenance of their roof.  As a result, they allow little problems to become large problems that require extensive repair or even replacement of their entire roof.

As someone who works on a local roofing crew, I run into this scenario time and time again. Oftentimes, we are called to service a home that not only is in need of roof repair, but also has sustained additional damage after a rain storm or other weather event.  


It's hard to explain or convince some homeowners that a regular maintenance plan is a good idea.  This allows a more preventative route and really prolongs the life of your home's roof. Not only this, it minimizes collatoral damage that can take place as a result of allowing a roof to deteriorate.  

Overall, it really decreases maintenance costs over the long run and contributes to increased value of your home.
